Sebastian is a town in Indian River County, Florida, United States. In 2022, the population recorded by the U.S. Census Bureau was 27,369. Sebastian is a principal city of the Sebastian−Vero Beach Metropolitan Statistical Area, which includes all of Indian River County. Sebastian is located on the Indian River, west of Vero Beach and east of Fort Pierce.

Sebastian is home to many retirees, as well as families with young children. The town has several parks, a riverfront boardwalk, and a marina. There are also several golf courses in the area.

The climate in Sebastian is humid subtropical, with hot, humid summers and warm, dry winters. The average temperature is in the low 80s.

The town is located in an area that is prone to hurricanes. In 2004, Hurricane Frances caused significant damage to Sebastian. The town was also impacted by Hurricane Jeanne and Hurricane Irma in 2017.
