About Cocoa Florida
Cocoa is a beautiful city in Florida. The weather is perfect and the people are friendly. There are plenty of things to do and see and the beaches are just a short drive away. I absolutely love living here and would recommend it to anyone.
Cocoa is a city in Brevard County, Florida, known as Florida's Space Coast. The city population was 18,657 at the 2022 United States Census. It is part of the Palm Bay-Melbourne-Titusville Metropolitan Statistical Area. Cocoa was founded in the 1860s and named for the Indian River. The river's name was derived from the Spanish word for "cocoa," which was likely in turn derived from the Arawakan word for "river." The city was incorporated in 1895.
The city of Cocoa is located on the Atlantic coast of Central Florida, east of Orlando. The city is bounded by the Indian River to the west and the Banana River to the east. State Road 520 is the main east-west road through the city, and State Road 528 runs from the beach to Orlando. Cocoa is a great place to live for many reasons. The weather is fantastic, the people are friendly, and there are plenty of things to do. The beaches here are some of the best in the world, and the fishing is great. There are also plenty of golf courses and other outdoor activities to keep you busy.
The town is small enough that you can get to know your neighbors, but there are also plenty of restaurants and shops to keep you entertained in the Historical Cocoa Village. Cocoa FL is a great place to raise a family or just enjoy the Florida lifestyle.
